Well I have the pearl 8100 but I have heard great things about all the bb's. I recommend the curve. Its mainly based on what functionality you need. If you go to blackberry.com you can do a side by side comparison of each phone.

Curve is not yet available for Sprint.

If I remember correctly, your choice are the Pearl or 8830. Basically do you want a small screen and a Suretype keypad or a bigger screen and full qwerty key pad. I originally bought the Pearl but after 3 weeks I took it back as I was not happy with screen size and the keypad.

Best thing to do is go down to Sprint and play around with both and see what you like better.

Wait for the Curve from Sprint, should be launching between Mid April to Late May. I promise it'll be worth the wait!

Thanks King, I think I will do some more research on the Curve. Hopefully Sprint will release one before too long. How do you like your 8830?

I have a Curve and my friends have a Pearl. I've read complaints about both of them on here. So, bypass that crap, make a choice, and upgrade to a new berry

I switched from nextel (7520) to Sprint 8830. Just the speed of the network is night and day. If you are using the 7100i now you should probably consider the pearl as you are probably used to the suretype.
