It is clearly unprofessional for a store manager to call the police to a phone shop just for looking/testing the blackberry 10 devices?

No, there actually may be more legitimate reasons.

    1) He was probably paid by Google, Microsoft, or Apple to do so.
    2) He is a former Best Buy employee.
    3) He is a part-time journalist working for the conspiring Media, which wants to see BlackBerry dead.
    4) He is American and doesn't want anyone to buy any non-American product.

I'm sure the manager would need more reason than touching/playing with the store displays to call police unless they were absolutely bonkers.

    The reasons behind it were:

    1) I was spendinging 2-3 hours looking at the phones (the company is on the verge of bankruptcy, I want to see if it's going to be worth 400 when the service is gone.

    2) I hadn't washed very well this morning and quite frankly my *** stank of ****. I didn't look like a crazy hobo though.

    3) I wasn't looking at any of the other devices (anti-BBRY marketing right there)

    4) I refused to talk to any of the staff, I didn't want bull**** sales pitches getting into my head about the new iPhone 5Crap.

I was not being disruptive to anyone, I was in there at legitimate opening times, I don't see why the police need to be called out.

Perhaps a little too agressive, but but by your own admission you were playing with the phone for a long period of time, refusing to talk to the staff, and staying with the one device.

If I was the store manager I would have come over and quietly asked you to discuss purchasing, or leave the store. If you did not discuss, I would have asked you to leave.

If you did not leave and did not talk, then I would have informed you that if you did not leave then the police would be brought in to remove you (At this point you had committed trespass, since the store manager had revoked your right to be in the space).

Going straight to cops is passive-aggressive crud.

(Speaking as someone who worked a few months as a security guard for an office building, trained in de-escalating and resolving these kinds of situations without getting the cops involved. Damn skateboarders were a freaking menace [There was a water feature outside that they always tried to do tricks on. was very bad on the benches and railings, and they always were going on about how we "harassed" them.])

Maybe the manager thought the police would like to upgrade their devices to BB10?
