I have a 8310 curve in greece by Vodafone. Vodafone in Greece does not allow the mobile to use its wifi capabalities. The phone is locked and you can only connect to the Internet by Vodafone Live!!!! but its too expensive! Is there a way to unlock the wifi?

As answered, your 8310 does not include Wifi. Wifi is a feature of several model, including the 8320, Bold and 8900.
Unfortunatly, Wifi itself is not particularly useful. The only application that uses Wifi is the Browser. Voice, messages and third party data will continue to use the carrier network.
However, if your carrier does support Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA), the above services will use the UMA data path. Some carriers give you unlimited voice and data with UMA, others continue charging for use and justify UMA for increased Quality of Service.
