    Okay, if you have a Curve, mainly an 8330, this worked for me.

    Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

    I basically updated my PC's registry and then did a wipe of my Curve before connecting it to Desktop Manager.

    What a waste of time this whole mess was. Shame on RIM for releasing software with an IT policy.
