So, I have been on the phone with Sprint tech support for over an hour and they have no clue... We have tried everything from a battery pull, to network diagnostic test from the phone to turning off my data then re activating it to deleting my email accounts all together. Anyone here have any advice? I can send email, all data (internet, twitter, etc.) Work just fine, the only thing I cannot do is receive email.

Oh, and this has been an issue since thursday morning around 10 central.
Any chances its the device, Bold 9650?

I had a problem recently. I was receiving emails, but none of my email notifications were working with any of the notification profiles. Also, it would say "Received using: unknown" at the top instead of the email address to which the received email had been sent. Sprint resent the service books for email, and everything started to work properly after that. Let us know how you make out.

Thanks, they did that one too... They're supposed to be calling me back soon because they were going to re provision the phone and said it would take about an hour or so...
    Still no dice though.

Is your firewall active? That's the only one not mentioned I could think of.

I have not received an email since thursday as well. I seem to be able to send them fine. I thought it had something to do with the outage. But it still has not been corrected.

Just checked and the firewall is totally disabled.... I might just take my phone to the Sprint store and switch my account to my wifes berry and see if that is it, or if the folks there have any ideas.

    Thanks!!!!

My blackberry stopped recieiving emails on Thurs, 5/27 around 1:30pm EST ... it is now Sun, 5/30 and still nothing. I've called Verizon 4 times, spent 2 hours in a Verizon store, and was finally transferred to BB Help for a ticket. Spoke to BB Help this morning - ZERO HELP. Rep said they are aware of the ticket and it has been escalated to their engineers, and that it may take a week to resolve. A WEEK ?!? Something must have gone terribly wrong for them to need an entire flipping week to resolve the issue ...or perhaps RIM/BB just doesn't care about their customers. Apparently there has been an intermittent Nationwide outage since Wednes, 5/26.

I was so looking forward to the 9650's release on Verizon's network in June, but am now seriously considering switching to a Droid. 4 day outage with no ETA on resolution and completly unhelpful Help Desk Reps makes once wonder ...

Rim/Blackberry is just a manufacturer. Why would you get mad at them when it's obviously the carriers liability to keep their towers and servers operating. Ask for a credit and check you mail on your pc! Good god man!

It has been confirmed by RIM/BB as a problem with the BB servers - it's not a carrier issue. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Devon. I am on the west coast and am not having issues, so the problem must be fairly localized. I'm sure everyone effected by it by now has given their carriers and RIM a good thrashing by now. Someone must have really screwed up over there. Keep us posted and let us all know how things pan out.
