Since Flash is disappearing from all mobile sooner or later. Eventually that website will suck and you can laugh back at it when it has to change with the times like BlackBerry and everyone else has decided.

You mean their website is out of date by not using HTML5....

    When's 10.4 coming?

It's not out of date. Flash is an option. Most sites still use flash over html5. They prefer it.

But in the meantime, if I upgrade, I cannot stream Celtics games with this browser. Why O why not just leave it flash alone until it is no longer needed!?

You could say the browser has not improved in the last 6 months and in fact lost a well used feature. Flash.

Flash was all the rage when we had it on our phones. It was invaluable and a major reason given to buy a Blackberry over another device. Streaming hockey games and playing flash games on websites, it was so glorious.

Now that its been removed it is a godsend because Flash is dead an unnecessary in the first place.....Interesting.

I've been hearing 'Flash is dead' as long as I've been hearing 'BlackBerry is dead.' They're both still around somehow.

I love how when we BlackBerry users were just about had the only browser with Flash it made BlackBerry superior, but now that it has been removed the websites suck and are out of date.

Well flash is dead for mobile browsers because even with flash many websites stopped working because they needed a newer flash player.

We always seem to focus on the wrong side of things....people should push Web devs to switch to html5... it simply reduces problems and no longer need to worry about security issues with flash.

How can you expect BlackBerry to support it in their browser when Adobe killed the mobile flash component in 2011?

    cbcoza | Z3/Z10/Z30 - OS:10.3.1.1154
We had it in our browser until 10.3.1 so what changed.

Also, do either iphones or androids have flash in their stock browser? I am genuinely asking as I really don't know.

Apparently flash is working in some third party browsers.

I just know that I regularly come upon sites that I can't view properly because I no longer have flash, and that seems like a backward step to me.

Do you care about the security of your phone? Because if so, you should be happy it no longer has Flash.

The days of flash are done and that is reality. As a part time Website developer we haven't used it in a year. It is time to move on.
