I have unlimited UMA calling on my BB plan on Rogers but my phone was originally a Telus 9700 (I bought it brand-new on Craigslist and unlocked it). Even though I am on Wi-fi and can access my BIS services, I cannot use the UMA calling that is included with my plan. I am told that I should have the "UMA" displayed where the "3G" or "EDGE" would be displayed if my phone supports UMA, which it doesn't... Would this be because my BB is not a Rogers-branded phone? Please let me know what's wrong as well as how to fix it.
