Another annoying thing is if you don't update, they now nag you to update every time you open the app.

I literally am down to 1 person left on BBM (my wife) and I am now the only person I know who still uses a BlackBerry. Keep "improving" BBM, because it sure is working!...

One way is to roll the OS back. The default 10.2 BBM is pretty good. I have OS 10.3 with BBM 10.9.6.22 and the UI is OK in it. Still get the red star thing on shop notification, but I can ignore that for my use, as I normally only use one chat through the hub.

Prosumer? Wtf, I thought this was 2015, not 2012.

BBM is trying to follow the norm, keeping in mind that they were one of the first ones to introduce "stickers". This, among other things, is a bit annoying, but once you realize you're a consumer, and you exist to consume, and nothing else, it's that moment where you don't care.
