I am not clear what you are trying to do, maybe I am just now familiar with your Skynet or Apollo, but your 8830 does not have WiFi, if those services are wireless internet.
Skynet and Apollo can only be accessed by UAL employees. No problem doing it from my laptop, but cannot get the job done using the BB internet connection. I keep getting messages to the effect that address and entry codes are too long.
Bill, I'd still love to know how you are attempting this connection... your 8830 does NOT have WiFi. It will NOT connect via a wireless connection to a wireless network.
SKYNET! Hmmmmmmm. SKYNET, Hmmmmmmmm!!!! Let me see, sounds like the Terminator is back. :D
I believe those are just websites for UAL employees. Some websites are not compatible with the BB browser. You can try loading Opera Mini:
www.operamini.com
8830 is not a WiFi phone!

The problem is that Skynet is too big for the BB Browser. If you think about it, Skynet is simply a page with the links that we need. We frequently access weblist and my workplace. Just save those address in your bookmarks (you can get the address by looking at the address bar on your home comp. next time) and then you'll go directly to those pages. Of course it will take you through the login screen first but then it will completely bypass the skynet page and go to wherever it was you are trying to go.
Your IT department might be able to make a mobile version of the page, that would work much better. For now opera mini, or Bolt are your best options, plus you might try setting your BB browser ID to firefox or IE, plus playing with the other settings like java script for example.
