Is there any way to turn off the ad-spam notifications from BlackBerry? I'm getting a little tired of the phone playing the notification chime thing only to find out BlackBerry has a sale on something.

    Thanks.

Well if it's an email notification can't you hit subscribe at the bottom?

Duh. There's the unsubscribe link. I never bothered to open them.

They're not emails, they appear as "notifications".

It's going right over your head. He was obviously referring to himself. He was indicating that after you pointed it out to him he head smacked "himself" for not seeing the unsubscribe button.

Try not to be so quick with defensiveness. You obviously helped the OP...

Make sure you have not given permission for any apps to advertise to you. I've found that to be especially frequent regarding some Android apps as well.

Are you sure they're coming from BlackBerry or possibly from a specific dev of an app?

    I get same issue...

Definitely app related i.e. how a dev is keeping his app free...
