Poynt uses BBMaps as its navigation portal, and BBMaps does not have voice turn-by-turn built in.

Garmin Mobile has turn by turn with street names. Not sure if it works on the Curve but I have it on my storm and it works great.

Nav4All is free and works pretty well. No maps display, but the nice features are that it turns off the screen when you have several miles to travel (saves battery) and turns back on when you are a mile or so from the next turn. It also supports bluetooth audio, so when I ride my motorcycle, the audio ports into my bluetooth helmet headset and I can hear the directions.

I also use the Garmin software, which seems to be more accurate than Nav4All. It's not free and doesn't support BT audio, but is a good piece of software.

One thing I tried was using my IPod adapter cable from the headphone jack on my storm to the AUX on my car stereo and have it some through the car speakers. Works well on short trips.

NAV4ALL may be free for some people. When I went to their site, it asked me if I wanted to try a 14 day trial. I'm on Rogers in Canada.

So am I actually. I couldn't even download that darned thing. It had me running in circles even though, by all accounts, I followed the installation instructions to the letter.

Yep, AmazeGPS is the only free GPS software I know that has Turn by Turn voice instructions, 3D map viewing and a weather display feature. I've been testing it now for a little over a week.

Do you have compatibility mode disabled? Also, what OS are you running? I am still on .75 but not sure if it makes a difference.
