How do you turn off push e-mail on a pop e-mail account? I would like to be able to manually control when my Blackberry Storm downloads e-mail messages from my work account. Is this possible?
You can't really turn it off. You can go into your BIS and go to the email address and click on Filters. Then check the box that reads "When no filters apply: ? Do not forward messages to device".
However, I would imagine that this is more trouble that just having the emails pushed to the device.
The other thing you could do, depending upon what's bothering you about the emails being pushed, is you could turn off all the audio and visual notifications for that email address by editing your Active Profile.
