I would like to keep my Facebook and Internet apps going. So I think that doing the whole "turn data service off" thing wouldn't probably be the best option. However.... I hate getting junk emails on my BlackBerry ALL. THE TIME. Whenever I try to find something on the internet to help and i do what it says I get to a spot where it has my email address in a box but it won't let me change it or anything. it's like it's stuck there.

Help! I want to turn my emails off but keep facebook, and internet still going!

I would think you could delete all IMAP email accounts from your BIS. The only one that would remain would be your @carrier.net email account. Or maybe you could set filters to not push any emails to your device.

There is an app called Stopmail in appworld BlackBerry App World - StopMail LITE

It may do what you are wanting

Log in your your BIS.
Click on Filters.
Click on "Do Not Forward to Handheld" under where it reads "When No Filters Apply".
Save.
