    Hello,

My problem is this: The WiFi on my Curve 8320 works like a dream, I can browse the web and whatnot... What I cannot do is have applications (Like the GMail app for ex) to connect to the internet. Does anyone know why this is?
I have lowered security settings, set the application permissions to allow and still no go. I have tried on many different WiFi's... Including my own personal home network and it has not worked as of yet.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

PS - I have tried other apps as well, to the same conclusion. And I have TMobile.

PSS - Also... Is there a way to have my email sent to my blackberry without having the blackberry internet package?

My 8320, with out a carrier supported package is still useful with a Wifi connection.

Wifi works only with Browser. If you use an web based email service, you can check email when you have a Wifi connection.

Google has a nice mobile interface, I use iGoogle with Gmail.
