Hey all... I'm traveling to Cuba at the end of the month. I want to rake my phone for family reasons, & I was wondering what the options might be down there for using my phone for data. I have an Unlocked Torch 9800 with a Rogers plan, but from what I see, the Rogers travel packs are CRAZY priced. Is there any type of SIM I can get here in Canada to take to Cuba to use? Or what other options do I have?

    TIA For your help!!

Don't know about data in cube but for calls / SMS you can use a Cuban Pre-paid local SIM card - cheap local calls.
And also get a calling card there, those with the local number and password.. and use it to make cheap calls from your Blackberry with the pre-paid Sim card.

So from this article, it looks as if the GSM network is the only thing that would work anyways, so Data wouldn't work down there anyways. Am I correct in that assumption?
