Hello.
I will soon be traveling overseas and would like to use my BB there. They have prepaid BiS plans and my phone is unlocked.
I would like to know if I have to unregister my PIN with my current carrier for my BB to work on the overseas' BiS (email, BBM etc)? I have read so many different answers, I dont know which is right.

It should work with all your original settings in place
It will work with all your original settings in place, however you'd have to re-register your e-mail accounts with the prepaid carrier via your Blackberry's e-mail settings wizard.
Once you return home, you'd have to do the same when switching back to your home provider, however your messages won't be lost (just make sure to click on "show all" after resending e-mail service books so that the e-mail icons show up).
also, whatever carrier-provided e-mail address you may have will be lost as well, unless you make a backup with DM first.
