I am at work and I am trying to transfer a users contacts, calendar and tasks from his blackberry over to his new black jack. His previous phone is a BB 8830. Our BES syncs wirelessly with outlook both ways.
-There is a catch to the whole issue his blackberry 8830 is from another company and set to there server to sync
-I have tried syncing the data from his BB to the BES via desktop manager. But since its a wireless setup the information will not sync hard wired into his computer.
If his phone is on BES, then it's a corporate phone and his IT dept should be making the transfer. Copying his work phone's data to a non-corporate phone using a non-corporate connection must surely be a violation of his user agreements, if not corporate security rules. Seems like a good way to get fired to me.
