Can anyone confirm if the Thunder is out and about yet? Could have sworn I just saw somebody with one. By the time I realized it he was in his car and gone......

The thunder is NOT out yet. RIM does have some models out, but they work directly for the company, and are certified testers.
I think SLVR knew that the Thunder has not been released to the public... he was wondering about the exact thing you just said! (from what I understand)
I assume there are people working for RIM that have test versions for a daily basis... how close was this when you saw it?? Are you sure it was not any of those other knock-off touch screen phones...?
