Is there a way to enter conference call passcode from the calendar entry?

    Typical scenario.

    1. I open a meeting from a calendar app. the entry has phone number as well as a passcode to enter when promoted.
    2. I move to the phone number in the calendar entry and menu->call xxxxxxx
    3. Call starts. I am promoted by the automated message for a passcode.

Is there a way to enter passcode w/o having to remember and enter it manually?

EzConCall is a paid software that makes it as easy as selecting the number in an email and dialing it in for you

You can use the "tel:" hyperlink, like this:

This results in a hyperlink containing all the waits a pauses.

    Worth a shot:

Some (All?) BlackBerries will assume if you dial a area code plus number, then it sees an X immediately followed by some numbers, it treats it as an extension.

I got caught in this when someone emailed me their office number as (123)555-0000 x1234

So I called it and the poor operator got touchtones in her ear 3 seconds after the call was connected.

You can of course try it out. Put in your office/home number, hit the X (alt-X if you're in the phone screen) then some digits afterward. You can even add a pound or star after the code and it worked (for me).
