maybe the question isnt worded right. but i'm looking for a single bluetooth earpiece that will play my music.

i'm sure i havent researched enough, but from what i've seen i have to get to different accessories.

on my old phone i had an option to set my bluetooth to auto answer. does anyone know how to set up my pearl to do the same?

The Voyager 855 will play music out of the main headset without attaching the other side. It's an awesome feature. I rarely use the add on stereo side. Sound quality is very good on voice calls. It's clear on both ends. Music lacks deep bass, but it's very nice overall. I would definitely give the 855 some consideration. Hope this helps.

Will the blueant Z9 allow music to be played thru it? I tried and it didn't work. Are there settings that I should change?

No the Z9 is not A2DP compatable.
