no, get a nexus 7. get one from ebay or look for one on slickdeals. you can probably get one for around 150-200.

i dont know why anyone would pick a playbook over nexus to tell you the truth unless you are a BB supporter. what serious advantage they have over the nexus?

    not big enough reason.

    1. I can be wrong but all BB phone that can bridge doesn't have 4g or lte connection. 3g is way too slow to be loading up full webpage.
2 . tethering connection is not a big deal. android and iOS can.
    3. the rest of the function like read email , use your trackball as mouse for playbook is useless for most ppl.

    1. For many users, to have no wifi, 3g is better the no access at all.
    2. Tethering is different from bridge.
    3. That was the number one complaint with bb10 because of the loss of email/text through bridge.

Please don't speak for other people. Your opinion is YOURS. I use my PlayBook every day. Not bored with it at all.

The reason is that the Playbook is getting the update to BlackBerry 10 where as the Nexus will forever be jellybean.
