With my cellphone on koodo I have unlimited nationwide calling. I'm basically not using my home phone.



I'd like to take it out, but It's still nice to have for fax and voicemail.



Now This is what I kind of want to do:



4G NETGEAR MVBR1210C Turbo Hub from Bell Mobility



I want to get an unlocked version of this, and add it to a cheap prepaid voice plan (I can get my internet elsewhere). This would cover my needs for home phone at a cheaper price.



Does such an item exist? thanks.

So this takes a SIM card, right?

I'm sure if you buy outright (From an electrical store/not from carrier) the device will be "unlocked"

Do any electrical stores carry unlocked versions? The only ones I've seen are locked to Bell or Rogers.

Not sure about the answer to the hub, but if you're keeping your land line for fax, you can simply do efaxing. That's what I do for work and it's great. I fax from my phone when needed as its all done via email
