Are there any keyboard cursors on BB?

Although I like the scratch pad for most uses - I often find myself reading a list and I want to nudge down one line at a time - e.g. nudging through ringer tones

The scratch pad is not suitable for this (it moves too many or too few lines)

Are there any keyboard cursors?

Space bar acts as a page down button in some contexts, but it may not be the solution you're seeking.
