Are you saying Opera shuts down and you have to enter the web address again or are you trying to find a shortcut? I find that hitting the 'red' (hang up) key brings me to the home screen and when I select Opera again, I'm able to get back to web page I was previously on. I find this to be faster then a shortcut to the home screen.

Themes tend to be display specific. They may also be OS specific.

the first way to get to the homescreen without exiting the running programs is to press the red hang-up button - as already stated above - the second is to press "Alt"+"Back" (the arrow) which brings you to the applications switcher, select the homescreen-icon (the house) and to switch back you press those buttons again and look for the opera icon.
