Thanks to you CB friends - a successful upgrade to 4.5 on Curve
Just wanted to say thanks to a few people who were really helpful and made my upgrade process 100% smooth!
- LastRaid - thanks for the great advice via email - I did exactly what you said, and it worked perfectly!
- Reed - THANK YOU for the pointer to the detailed specs, and also for being willing to be available if I needed it!
- Azeis - thanks for letting me know what new things to expect
For all you newbies out there - this truly is the best forum support experience EVER!

Thanks again everyone - I am a happy, upgraded camper. :o

Good stuff.... I know you feel real good about yourself and you'll be doing this with your eyes closed soon.

The main thing to always remember is to back up your data! I have it set so every time I upgrade the OS, it automatically does a back up.

I am working on it at my end but my email is not coming to by BB anymore. I can send however so it must be some minor tweaking I need to do. If anyone has a solution, I sure would appreciate it.

@teal: Either resend your service books or options > advanced
options > host routing table > press menu and select Register Now.

See if that helps.

LOL, Mine is set to weekly, plus an autobackup every time I upgrade to another test version. :cool:

I did the registration after service books did not seem to work and I am up and running fine. Thanks for the big assist.

Good stuff... I think I may do the weekly thing in addiction as well because if I don't upgrade/downgrade, I never back up.
