Hi and welcome. A lot of people are having text messaging issues after 10.2
I suggest you look around and see what else is out there on the threads to maybe help you.

I have a friend who showed me his text message issue. It's slow to compose a new text. This happens whether the contact has existing history or none at all.

It's very frustrating for my buddy as when he see's my phone it's works perfect. We both have the same phone, model, and OS but he has the issue.

Is there anything I can suggest to him to help?
