Am I missing something? How do you text on blackberry curve so that it fills words for your like my old phone. I had a lg before and I had chosen word format in text so that if i typed the first two letters of a word, it filled the rest. Do i have that option on blckberry...........can't find it anywhere

i tried that and it did not work. I believe the option i am looking for is autocomplete. I would not like to type the whole words while sending a text or email. I would be shocked if blackberry did not offer that. any suggetions? thanks for the help........

I was under the assumption that function was for phones without a full qwerty keyboard. Because it was a lot more to have to press 7 four times to get S. But you have the qwerty keyboard so that isn't really an issue.

I think SureType is for the Pearl - have not seen in on a qwerty keyboard - Lets see what others say

I created some words in auto text for my needs. It works perfectly here. Its not suretype but it can be set up to speed you up if you toy around with it
