i would cry like a baby...i am hooked on my berry and i have so much junk on it that i depend on that if it got busted i would cry.

I plug in my BB and sync it with my calender once a week. Is that considered backing it up? how do I back up the passwords I have saved on my BB? now you guys have me worried Thanks!

I have set mine to auto every 7days... however since m on BES also, I know its doing a backup every midnight...

What would you do if your BlackBerry got broken or lost/stolen? OR... if affected by one of the BlackBerry outages of 2007, what did you do and how did you cope?

I guess I'd get another one.... I wasn't affected by any of the outages this year (yet!). I think the thing that I'd be most afraid of is, if my berry got stolen, what personal information would the perp find and be able to use against me????

I would just have to go out and buy the latest and greatest BB! I backup using the old fashion method of paper and pencil, and keep that book in safe keeping, thats my backup style!

I would hate to lose my phone for two reasons: the money and it's my new best friend. I would cry. Backup? you can do that? I have so much to learn.

I never really do a "backup" except when loading new software but I sync it almost every day either at home or at work. If it got lost or trashed it probably wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

If my blackberry got lost or stolen, I'd get a replacement right away - that's what insurance is for..

Not sure what i'd do in an outage - i guess not much you could do except for hope they get it fixed ASAP

If I lost my BB I would curse that I had not backed up everything recently and then switch to my old regular cell phone untill the 9000 series comes out for sale. I have been affected by a BB outage but it does not really concern me. I can live without getting my work emails for a while on the BB.... besides I can always go check work eamil using OWA. I really am enjoying the BB more for fun so I dont get so crazed when there is an outage or whatever.

I bought my bb around the time of the outages and didn't know about them... I regretfully turned it back in within my allotted time for a Dash... after my fourth call for an exchanged in 9 months because my Dash was giving me so many problems... they offered me the bb as an exchange.... it works SO much better and I am very happy! Without my phone... I would be lost! (Very sad, but true)

I don't even want to think about it! But I do regular back ups and use the lock feature in the event it is stolen or lost. Then I'd just have to breakdown and buy a new one at full price. It would hurt the funds but it'd be worth it.

I can't imagine what would happen if I lost my info or my BB. I do backups out of the fear that one day I may screw it up and will need it.

I've never backed up my BB- but I will eventually learn to do so soon.
