I keep backups in multiple places, and other than getting a new BB, there would be little downtime, and no data loss.

I back up daily, sometimes everohter day, I would hope the information I backed was current if not then I would be mad and deal with it.
If it were lost/stolen, I would be disappointed, then alittle pissed off, and would have to try and get another device.

I'd have to get a new one same day. It's my only form of communication away from home.

Man, that would suck! I'd surely be SOL if it was lost/stolen. What's the best way to back it up? I need some ideas, thanks!

I would be pretty angry, but I'd probably pawn all my stuff until I had enough money for a new one. I'll probably not go without one again.

I prefer to be an absolute optimist and live in a world where my bb would never get lost/stolen or anything else that would be a negative impact on my life.

    happy day!

Hmmm.... Since I'm still getting things setup, I haven't really even thought about this yet. But, it is worth thinking about. (I guess I need to start a backup routine.) Otherwise, in the short time I've had it I already know I'd feel kind of lost without it. If stolen, I'd have to replace it asap.

Maybe I'm not clear on this. I don't back it up, but I do synchronize it at least once a week.

my BB is connected to a BES server - so email and addresses are synchronized with Outlook, so i don't worry about backups. the first few times that I stopped getting emails, i would call the help desk and they had me pull the battery and synch up, and it was a waste of time. now I just wait and eventually the emails start again.

I get the shakes when I can't find my BB. I start calling it to l let it know that I care and am trying to find it. It once fell out of my bag and ended up three states away. I felt completely disconnected and lost until it was expressed back to me.

I think i would mentally break down if my BB was lost/stolen because it brings me so much joy and most of all my contact info is on it along with a 2gb memory card plus the fact I had to pay $500 for it thanx to Sprint being crappy to preexisting customers :-(

I am sure that if I lost ALL of my info, I would become a cracked-up berry user. I would be on the 5 o'clock news standing at the corner, with a poster that reads "I Lost EVERYTHING I own - Please Help" At the bottom of my poster would be a picture of me and my Blackberry before I lost EVERYTHING!

Losing my Curve is probably one of the worse things that could happen because of the personal data on that device. I'd have to stop my life and immediately buy another one ASAP. And because I backup often and I would do a restore and be on my way. I'd then hope the self-destruct timer on my old Curve works because having that data in the wrong hands is my worst nightmare!
