If I lost my blackberry curve, I'd bust out my backup 7290, and then go to the store and get another curve.

good thing for backups! I'd still have all of my emails/phone logs.

i think the first thing i would do is immediately buy a new one so the withdrawl period wouldn't b too long.. and than id probably lock myself in my room and sleep the saddness off

I recently found a Curve at Atlanta airport in the mens room. Tried to find the guy (if only he had bothered to stop and wash his hands - ewww - I would have easily found him), but ended up giving it to security as I had a car waiting for me. My Pearl is insured, so I'd go get another one THAT DAY!!!

If my blackberry got lost or stolen I'd hunt the pooper down and give 'em what for! If it got broken I would be sad if it was my fault but if not then I would make whoever broke it pay for it and if it was the fault of the phone malfunctioning I would demand a new one.

as far as the blackberry malfunction of 2007...I am a first time blackberry user and just got my 8310 Curve today so I know nothing of that. Sounds scary!

Well since everything is backed up i just go get a new one. Alittle pricey but definitely worth it.

I had an outtage in 07 where I could not use my phone. What a relief, the phone stopped ringing off the hook and I took a short vacation from the buisness world. Landlines work great to those you love.

i wasnt affected by the outages, but i did get the insurance so i would just live with it for a day i guess

If my new Curve were lost or stolen, I wouldn't wait around to replace it. If it got broken and was fixable, there are really only two choices... get it fixed or replace it. I guess I could stand waiting for it to be fixed, but I wouldn't be happy.

I think I would go crazy trying to reset it and then just wait for the break in service to end. I have insurance on my unit so I would try and get it replaced as soon as possible.

wasnt around for the outage then, and i would be thoroughly upset if i lost my BB, or had it stolen. too much info, calendar info, but to be honest, just a HUGE inconvenience to get a new sim card, add new numbers, emails.

work would be hard for the next few weeks.
