Hello, I am going to the USA on a 10MB data plan and I want to stop a few of my e-mails from push service. Can please anyone let me know how? The only way I thought of it was to change the passwords of those accounts and so the push will be disabled temporarily, but if there's another way, please let me know.

    Thank you and happy holidays!

Mark them as spam on your computer and they'll not be pushed to your blackberry, also disable automore and download images automatically settings.

A few of your emails? Or all your emails? Just go to email account management, select the address you want and press de menu key. Press on filters, then choose "do not forward messages to the device" under "when no filters apply:". That will pretty much stop all emails if none of them have defined filters.

    Found it, thanks a lot.

And yes, I wanted to disable just 3 e-mails out of 5. The remaining two are work related so I can't really disable them! lol

Still, make sure you disable automore and download images automatically settings, you can then choose if you want to see the rest of the email or if you want to see the photos. Text email will use very little data. Also use bbm to stay in touch if you can.

Also, when you're out of the country receiving sms will cost you so if you want to block them you can in the firewall setting.
