Rumours out there TCL will be releasing a folding smartphone which can slap onto your wrist as a watch. Any chance it could be blackberry branded I wonder? maybe a blackberry branded foldable phone and watch?

Foldable devices don't exist until Apple invents them.

Yeah the whole foldable screen thing... screams expensive. Especially with pricing we are hearing on the new Samsung phone.

Alcatel doesn't have the track record for "premium" products.

But we will see in a couple of days...

Not even that. "Exploring" vs "Releasing" are two even bigger differences.

Yeah the rumors don't suggest one of TCL's many new phones use this technology yet... based on that lineup, not sure where they'd fit in a "premium" product. Will need folding technology to get cheap, really - really cheap.

Lets see them first get ahold of Samsung AMOLED's for their KEY line, then we'll talk folding stuff lol

Likely not gonna be blackberry branded. Then again, folding glass devices will break far easier. XD

Don't see it being Alactel branded either.... Can't see them going from $150 phones to $1,500 phones very easily. Right now BlackBerry is their "premium" brand... but the folding glass technology is going to have to really drop in price and prove itself (especially from value manufactures).
