VZ has confirmed that the Z10 can talk and surf at the same time on the VZ network. The only VZ LTE phone that can't is the iPhone.
Another consideration is international travel. VZ has great options but the VZ Z10 is limited in terms of LTE roaming. It uses only one LTE band which hardly anyone in the world uses. So the ATT version will allow for LTE data in far more countries. Also, because of this limitation, talk and surf is greatly limited while out of the country as well - which is when you often need directions and a phone call at the same time.
