    is the gps on my att 8310 able to be used with other apps or do I have to pay for telenav? Are there any free apps that acctually use the gps?

    As long as you have a data plan there is a wide variety of apps you
    can use for free.

    amaZGPS, Nav4All, Google Maps, BlackBerry Maps,
    TellMe, Live Search Mobile, etc...
