Is there a way to have the GPS just constantly update yourself on the map without a destination? Sorta like handheld GPS units. I'd like to use it for hunting/fishing.

I tried figuring this out once with no luck... I figured out that Google Maps was my best bet for doing something like that.

I don't think it has that capability as its just for destination routes only.

yes there is a way to do it but its not as good as google maps. First go to maps and traffic. Hit the menu button(blackberry logo) and go to "get new map" And then select current location.

There you go... I'm going to check it out myself, but I'm still liking GM for this functionality...

I guess no way to get the cool 3D map for just regular driving then?
