T Mobile SIM cards & Blackberry

How do you save your contact information to your sim card? I thought the contacts would automatically be saved to the sim card, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

To save contacts to your sim card you open the contact then scroll to the contacts phone number. Then hit the menu key and copy to sim phone book. You can only do one contact at a time. But if all your contacts are already on your sim card you would go to address book then hit menu key and select sim phone book then hit menu key again and select copy all to address book.
