I am not sure if this belongs in s specific thread, but wanted to know a comparison of the keyboard and size of an AT&T Bold vs a Sprint Tour. I currently own a Sprint Tour since it's release and my work bought me a Torch 9800 (which i sold on ebay) then purchased an Android Atrix per my boss's request. I am not really interested in an Android device or any of the latest BB devices, so I am looking to purchase an AT&T Bold 9700. I can see from gsmarena that the Bold is slightly lighter, and smaller in width/height, but the keyboard appears to be a little larger than the Tour. Can anyone definitely tell me I am correct in my thinking? I really like my Tour but need an AT&T device. Thanks!

they are the same keyboard the tour is a bigger/phone different look and lighter as you know. What made my decision easier back then was the no wifi on the tour. For me wifi is a must.

You can use any unlocked Blackberry GSM device that fits the frequency bands that At&t devices are used with.

You simple use the SIM card on the unlocked Blackberry even if it comes from other carrier.

I would suggest you to use get the Blackberry Bold 9780.

The Tour will work on AT&T, but only using EDGE. You won't get 3G, since the only 3G GSM radios built into the Tour are European frequencies. You'll need to go with a Bold 9700 if you want 3G on AT&T.

9780 has a 5MP auto focus cam, the 9700 has a 3.2 MP cam. Look it up for the software different, but the 9780 is two time more capable then the 9700
