Now that AT&T has finally rolled out 4.5.0.152 for the 8310, does it make any sense to actually put that version in my AT&T Curve that I already installed from Vodaphone (which is V4.5.0.55) about a month ago? Is there any benefit in replacing what I have now??

Yes. The At&t version is a much more stable release. The version you are running was released back in July and many bug fixes were done since then.

First. The actual OS is 4.5.0.110. .152 is the Package Version

Second. YES. The AT&T release will ensure that if you need
support from them they will be able to provide it.

And lastly, each new OS has gotten progressively better.

Yeah. I was running the same version that you were. The att version is much smoother. And I have no memory leak anymore.

Any problems with the apps I have installed? I'll do a backup like Blackberry site suggests, but do I have to go through the same ordeal that I did with the vodophone install or just follow the basic steps that it outlines on the site?

At worst you'll have to re-enter reg codes or login info.

I certainly backed up my data and my apps before I did the upgrade, but I didn't need to do any manual restores. The upgrade process through DM backed them up a second time and restored everything perfectly after, all automatically. You still have to re-register all your apps, though, and they'll all run as though you had just installed them.
