Ok, my mom has one of the older BB's (7xxx). I've been trying to get her POP email configured so that all of her messages will be on 3 different computers, plus her BB. I'm leaving a copy of the messages on the server everytime I recieve a message. The BB has recently stopped getting emails, even if Outlook is open or closed. What gives? Anyone know how to fix this?
try and resend the service books.. If that doesn't work, delete the e-mail acct on BIS, re-add it, and send the books again... as long as you're leaving a copy on the server and have it configured to foward properly, it should work...If none of that works, give your carrier a call in the morning...
Ok, so it turns out that the settings didn't save with the POP things, which could have been a problem. I changed those so it works now. The BB is working now, I think there may have been a TMO outage or something.
