Hey, I have a new BB Curve and a new lap top that came with Vista and the Microsft Home & Student 2007. This suite does not include Outlook (just Miscrosft Mail, etc.). I have been trying all day to connect/synch my BB to the Windows contact and calender with no success. My e-mail works/synchs, but not the address book or calendar. RIM told me that I needed Outlook. Seems odd, but is this correct?

You can use google sync, it will sync your contacts with Gmail and synch your calendar with Google Calendar.

I second the google sync. It works even better since the new version came out about 2 months ago. Syncs automatically and I've never had a problem with it.

I'm getting a failed message have you or anyone else had a problem with "another sync client has been adding events to the blackberry calendar"
