I will get a Blackberry Curve 8900 from o2 Germany in some days. I just wondered if I use a MS Exchange Account to sync with, will it also sync my adresses and calendar? Or do I have to use the Desktop Software?
As I understand it, if you have an MS Exchange account then you need BES not BIS. I am running BIS and using Funambol (Funambol Open Source MobileWe for Billions of Phones) to sync my dekstop Outlook calendar/contacts/notes/tasks to my 8900 for free, every half an hour. Works well, and provides a good bakup at my.funambol.com
