    I hope the BlackBerry Keyboard isn't affected... still think cloud-based intelligent virtual keyboards a good idea? I'll stick to my physical keyboard.

    The BB VKB absolutely would be affected by this, as it's build on the exact same, licensed SwiftKey prediction engine.

    I don't think so Troy because the older BB10 Swiftkey engine doesn't have the neural net component in the cloud that the Android and IOS versions do. ie BB10 doesn't connect to Swiftkey servers for that additional functionality.
