Platform wars suddenly rises from nowhere here at CrackBerry whenever someone talks about his/her great experiences with BlackBerry 10. And there's too many people whining all the time thinking as if going private means bankruptcy. So I say it's not that quiet.

Well, it depends on how frequently you visit. I generally visit several times a day, so I agree seems to have quieted down a bit. In addition, main blog posts have slowed down a little, but that may be more so a result of having nothing new to report on so can't blame them.

Things remain challenging for BB the company, but anything can happen. Got my Q10 + Bridge + Unlimited 4G so life is good. Definitely will pick up the Z30. Shame that there is no safe haven for discussing anything good about BB for BB users....but plenty of other discussions

If you don't mind me asking, what is the reasoning behind having both the Q10 and the Z30? I'm assuming you'll use Q10 for productive work and Z30 for media - but wouldn't it be better to get something else as a media phone. If anything, to get some of the stuff you can't get with BB10.

I noticed a number of CB visitors have two BB10 phones, I always found it kinda odd.

I carry many BlackBerry phones because each is equally delicious and I find great pleasure using each unique form factor. From a 9810 slider on OS 7.1 to my Q or Z10. And soon Z30.

The Z30 will replace an old out of contract DROID that needs to be replaced that I picked up when lost my mind and made a temporary switch to Android. Having two BBs again in the household will be golden then it's Bridge + BBM + Unlimited 4G. Problem will be which will be my favorite?

I have not been here that long, but at least for me the Sideload/Leak/Support portions are pretty active and helpful! I think it has slowed down over the last few weeks because there are less doom-and-gloom posts (*knocks on wood*), maybe we are finally past the peak of the negativity.

Shout out to James Richardson who continues to hold down the fort. One of the few CB people who still provides helpful info on how to better our BB10 experience through app reviews and not the financial and sales disasters of the day.

Must be a thankless job reviewing BB apps under the continued backdrop of BB world's poor selection.

There is a cabal of about 4 posters who've made it their mission to turn nearly every post into a soapbox upon which they spew their hatred of all things BlackBerry. Truth is, I hardly post, or even read much on here these days.

I can't imagine what new members must think when they come here full of excitement about discovering how great BlackBerry phones are, only to be made victims of the cabal.
