It has WiFi but Verizon doesn't want anyone to know it's there. They were going to charge for it but they are releasing the Storm 2 so they aren't going to worry about it.
Verizon disabled Storm WiFi due to a glitch that emitted dangerous levels of radiation. You may be able to Google and find the unlock code, but you would have to wear a tin foil hat whenever you come within 10 meters of your Storm.
Yeah, and my 8900 has a hidden 3G transceiver... People, the 9530 doesn't, never has, and never will have WIFI. Get over it and move on.
I know this will sound dumb, but that counts for all storms right, not just the US? I mean like other countries that have storms they can't use wi-fi either right? I know, dumb question

the current storms (9500 and 9530) do not contain a wi-fi chip. if there is no chip, there is no wi-fi, no matter what country you are in.

Thank you for clearing that up. My friend tried to tell me that we couldn't use it but other countries could or w/e and I told him that no storm has wi-fi, but he wouldn't believe me lol. Thanks for clearing that up though
