Sorry to hear about your accident. I don't directly see the connection between updating the OS and then dropping it in a puddle, but good luck!

Hello all. I have been lurking here for a while and am one of those who MOSTLY loves my storm. But I had to answer this one.
I also dropped my Storm in a puddle. grabbed it out right away removed the battery and let it dry for three days.

Not only did it work perfectly it was more responsive than ever (as in almost zero key lag) and my battery life went up dramatically. I had been running .113 for a few weeks at the time so I don't know any other reason than the swim.

I don't recommend it but it sure helped for me.

I am still running the same OS and it has been fine for me.
Thanks to all the great people here who share their knowledge so willingly.

Same here. Drop it here and there, surprisingly more with the curve than any other phone I've had.

Don't you have to be at the same OS when the phone was purchased to return it? Hopefully it's destroyed and they won't tell.
