I installed Streets and Trips on my computer and planed a quite long trip with it (rest stops, gas stations, etc.) and now I'm wondering if there is a way to use my blackberry storm as the GPS locator. Yeah I know, I have the GPS NAV software that came on my storm from bell. But I can't plan a route with it.
So, when I try to assign the port on my pc i can see that my storm and media card are on ports 9 and 10. But the software doesn't recognize it as GPS.
Is there a way around or some other software that can prepare a trip and use the phone as gps-receiver? I heard google maps is possible but the big issue is that google maps is requiring me to be online, which is gonna use a lot of data on my 1200km trip.

    Anyone an idea?

    Thanks

Garmin sells Software for the storm that turn it into a real GPS. I don't know that it would interface with Streets and Trips in the way you want though
