yes, that doesnt matter connection wise. that is a BIS limit
That is ********. They need to realize that you're using your personal network and not the carriers. Why is this limited this way?
It is still using RIM's servers, whether it is on the carrier's network or Wi-Fi.
That's unacceptable in RIM's part. Then why can you still browse through your WiFi when the BIS servers are down?
you have to switch to the wifi browser that is not using RIMS servers.
Then would that still truncate the data flow?
well if BIS is down its not going to matter, you wouldnt be getting email so the truncation is moot. The truncation and other limitations comes from anything running on rims servers. You cant get around it since anything you use runs thru BIS.
There is a hack out there but in allows security exploits too with it and it not wise at all.
I saw that earlier this year, but it looked a little sketchy. I didn't like how you had to replace trusted JVM files with some unknown code. A little sketchy to me.
