i went to the gym today and when i got back from working out my bag was stolen from my locker. Is here anyway to find myblackberry...i have find me on it but it doesnt do me any good if a cant see like berry locator witch sends you a gps image. if any ideas please let me know thanks
I'm sorry that I don't know more about BB theft apps. So all I can say is that you should def call Customer Care & have your service cut. Or maybe they can find it through GPS - itd be nice huh?

This is exactly why I have my 8700. If I'm going to the gym where im going to be away from my phone for a while I'll just switch SIMs and not worry about a thing. Such as the gym, swimming, running etc.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I am hoping that you had done a back up on DM, and also you have insurance on the phone. It's a real Bummer to have your phone stolen so soon after getting it.

You bought FindMe, which is designed to find your Berry if you lose it in your house, not if it is stolen.
If you had FintIt, or another application I recently posted in my cool app list, you then could email your device and have it send you back GPS coordinates.
I feel your pain. Had my 8310 stolen about a week ago. Will def be investing in some apps and keep a password lock on there. Been waiting on tomorrow's eligible upgrade date to get a new one
Ok. This will work. Have your service provider call your device. If the call is picked they can tell you which relay station picked up your call and where the signal came from. I am guessing your phone is with thieves so it doesn't matter. Store and memorize your pin. That number can't change.Your service provider can also trace peer to peer.

Not to sound absolutely ridiculous...but after getting the GPS coordinates then what? The police? How does this work?
Sorry to hear about that...I have always left my cell locked in my car and tucked away when I go to the gym because I know I won't need it while I'm working out. Anyhow, good luck on finding it or whatever comes of your situation.

Maybe saying you'll give a reward for whoever "finds" it.
