Hi Everyone,

I have not found the answer to this, so here we go.

I have the new Pearl from Verizon. When I push and hold the Stand By button on top, it keeps asking me if I want to go to stand by and if so press ok.

I am looking at just hitting the stand by button and it goes to stand by without asking. That is a big pain.

I have looked in the menu and options and every other place I could think of to get rid of that question so it goes straight to stand by but I have not had any luck.

Any help you can give would be great.

Oh, and does it REALLY save your battery as opposed to the key board lock, or am I just spining my wheels.

the only way you can get it to go into standby without the promt is to update the os to .97

verizon just released it...
