Yup, I did!
Now several keys type the wrong letters, Do I have any options to try and clean it or am I SOL!
I have dried it out and the phone boots up and seems to function correctly except for the keyboard.
Anyone have any ideas???

I cringe at the thought... I hope you're able to clean that out. Sorry, no ideas.
Put in in a bowl of rice IMMEDIATELY, and if that doesn't work in a day or so, you can try to take apart the Bold and see if you there is any water on under the keyboard.
Yes the rice solution is always the best thing to try to do. Rice absorbs the moisture so you might have a chance at it.
Even if it does dry out...
You'll be looking at a super sticky phone...
The Keys may even stick down when you type...
::Shudders::
I've heard of the rice "trick" before but does that really work? And what are the steps to that? Fill a large bowl with uncooked rice and submerge the phone?
Wow...
I'd hate to say, "I'll try that," but I'll definitely keep that in the back of my mind should I ever encounter that problem.
Believe me, the rice trick works alot. Sometimes depending on what got wet, you might have to make a claim and get a new device...
Ive worked in the electronics arena for over 25 years now and have repaired thousands of pieces of equipment that has been damaged by liquid.
by far the best repair solution is to imedaitley power down the device and remove battery or mains power, alow to dry for at least 24 hours in a ventilated place then strip down and remove any evidence of liquid, if all arears are accsesable and you are confident you have removed all liquid a re-power can be attempted.
one thing that will help the drying process is a good quailty electrilytic cleaner or a evaporising water despersant. these will remove any liquid from had to reach places and can sometimes bring back to life otherwise faulty or dead components such as keyborads.
I have allways found that the biggest problem with liquid damage is that people dont remove the power supply as soon as possible and this genrally causes more harm than the liquid itself as the liquid allows voltage to short out various components which basically means they need replacing.
now this guy knows what he is talking about
Yeah that is the whole time consuming stuff, and if you don't wanna do that I'm telling you a bowl of rice will absorb A LOT of the liquid if not all of it.
Again, even if the rice works to remove the moisture it is not going to remove
the sugar contained in the soda, which is in all likelihood the reason the
keys are sticky. The underside of the keyboard and the contacts need to be
cleaned also.
That's why I said to try to take it apart and see if there's any water under the keys or in the phone after you dry it out.
Right. I get that, but the absence of moisture does not equal
the absence of sugar. Taking it apart to check for moisture is a
good idea, but even if it isn't present it should be cleaned also.
I wasn't saying your point was wrong, I was adding on to it.
I feel real bad for you. I don't know what I would do with myself.

Thanks for the replies guys, I can report that currently the Bold is functioning perfectly.
Here's what I did, since I was at work and had no rice. I removed the battery and sim cardsprayed electrical contact cleaner into the keyboard, dried that out for 20 min with compressed air ( I work at a car dealer ), then rinsed with denatured alcohol, and again with the compressed air. Everything works correctly, no signs of stickyness and all has been good for about 5 hours now.
Keep your fingers crossed!!! I'm thinking I'll dump this phone as soon as the Pluto comes out!!! Hope it makes it that long, if not it's under warranty for the next 8 months, maybe I exchange it, we'll see how it goes.
